American Eagle-owned Aerie (Pittsburgh) will open 50 new locations in 2017.

The retailer has reported five straight quarters of sales growth, while its competitors filed for Chapter 11, reports CNBC.

Aerie will also ramp up its swimwear focus in the coming year: “We are seeing some new statistics in swim that are like, 'Whoa,'" said Jennifer Foyle, Aerie’s global brand president. "Market share's up for grabs for sure."

Aerie has 190 locations in 13 states, mostly on the East Coast of the U.S.
