Apple Watch In Stores This Month

Apple stores to receive partial smart watch line

The Apple Watch will make its brick-and-mortar debut in the next two weeks, according to Industry Week magazine. Apple (Cupertino, Calif.) officials announced last Thursday, however, that only some of the models available for purchase online will be available in Apple retail stores.

Apple unveiled its first “smart watch” in April, but so far has sold it only through its online store and in a handful of luxury boutiques. Demand for the new product has resulted in months-long backorders. The watch works for calls, messaging and apps by connecting wirelessly to a user’s iPhone. The Apple Watch retails from $349 to $10,000 for a limited-edition gold model.
