Armani, Saint Laurent and Miyake to open designer stores in Manhattan next week

New York retail will become even more stylish next week with the debut of new and/or reopened stores by Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent and Issey Miyake.

Saint Laurent's Rive Gauche store will reopen on Madison Avenue on Tuesday, September 11, now bearing the stamp of Gucci creative director Tom Ford. The following day, Casa Armani will open on Greene Street in SoHo. And Miyake's store, designed by Frank Gehry and Gordon Kipping, will open on Hudson Street in TriBeCa.
