Lighting manufacturer Hera Lighting (Norcross, Ga.) named Jeff Santoro as its sales manager for the West Coast.

Product manufacturer DVUV Holdings LLC (Cleveland) hired Joshua Gottron as sales representative for its UV-cured powdercoating business. Gottron will be based out of the company’s headquarters and cover the Midwest region.

STORE OPENING

Baskin-Robbins (Canton, Mass.) has signed a master franchise agreement with Blue Star Food Corp., a Vietnamese food manufacturing company, to open about 50 Baskin-Robbins restaurants in the country over the next several years. The first three-story space to open in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, features the brand’s new international store design, which includes lounge-style seating, pink spoon-shaped door handles, textured walls reminiscent of waffle cones and an interactive LCD menu.

Global materials consultancy Material ConneXion (New York) has opened a new office in the Jiading district of Shanghai, its second in China, to support clients with business interests in the region.

Sears Holdings Corp. (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) has completed a spin-off of its interest in Orchard Supply Hardware Stores Corp., making the company independent from Sears.
