Bitter Sweet, a Canadian accessory and costume jewelry retailer, bloomed with the opening of its 1000-square-foot store at Yorkdale Shopping Center in Toronto. Reflecting the company's floral logo and packaging design, the three-dimensional facade (by Candeloro Designs, Toronto) is made of large, sail-like petals. Custom fixtures and lighting elements distinguish areas such as the “White Room,” which houses the most luxurious merchandise in off-white niche displays. Cherry veneer cases in the adjoining room are accented with chrome and lighted by playful, custom light fixtures.
