The country-store-and-gas-station Buc-ee’s (Lake Jackson, Texas), well-known in the Southern U.S., is expanding its reach to the north-east of the country with its first location in Virginia set to open in June. A second location in the state is slated for 2027.

The first Virginian store will open on June 30 in Rockingham County, Virginia, about 2 hours from Washington, D.C. The location will be approximately 74,000 square feet with parking for more than 600 vehicles and 120 fueling stations in addition to more than 20 electric vehicle charging stations, according to Fox 5 DC.

The new store will be the northernmost location for Buc-ee’s.

A second store in Virginia will be located in the state’s New Kent County, and is currently slated to open in 2027.
