Build-A-Bear President Resigns

Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. (St. Louis) president John Haugh announced he is retiring from the company, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

A successor has not been named. In the meantime, Haugh’s responsibilities will be shared by Tina Klocke, chief financial and operations officer, Teresa Kroll, chief entertainment officer, and chief executive Maxine Clark.

Haugh succeeded Scott Seay, who was fired as president, in 2009. Prior to joining the company, he served as president of candy and confectionery retailer It’s Sugar LLC.
