Calvin Klein Changes Creative Leadership

Calvin Klein Inc. (New York) has announced that Italo Zucchelli and Francisco Costa, the men and women’s creative directors for the company are leaving this year. The New York Times reports that the departure will allow the fashion retailer to create a “new global creative strategy.”

The company has announced that both lines will be united on “vision” soon, which will likely also encompass jeans, underwear, fragrance, and more.

Calvin Klein has not yet announced what the company’s new strategy will entail, but it did state that the men’s collection planned for the June and the women’s collection planned for September will be completed by the in-house creative team. The collections will not be shown on the runway.
