Carvel tests low-carb ice cream on East Coast

Carvel Corp. (Atlanta) has announced that it is testing a new carb-diet friendly ice cream at select East Coast franchise locations.

The low-carb ice cream joins the ice cream franchise's healthy product line that already includes No Sugar Added and Non Fat ice creams.

“Carvel is know for its wide variety of product innovations,” says president and ceo Steve Romaniello. “This new carb-diet friendly ice cream will be a great addition for our loyal customers who have embraced this new dietary lifestyle.”

The company operates more than 460 franchised and food service locations and sells its ice cream cakes at over 6300 supermarket locations.
