on

Soon Chanel (Paris) will have a major presence at London’s Burlington Arcade, a covered shopping center that runs between Piccadilly and Bond Street. The fashion powerhouse has signed a long-term lease for five of its labels, with stores set to open by the holidays, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

One 807-square-foot unit will house a Chanel accessories boutique, while four other shops will house the swim and lingerie label Eres, watchmakers Bell & Ross, milliner Maison Michel and the knit label Barrie, which are all owned by Chanel. The new boutiques will join the likes of Ladurée, Vilebrequin, Harrys of London, Lulu Guinness and Church’s in the arcade.
