Chevy Chase, Md., Louis Vuitton Closed

Shopping center changing focus

Louis Vuitton (Paris) has closed its Chevy Chase, Md.-based store, located at The Collection at Chevy Chase. The store’s windows have been covered up, and the location has been removed from the company’s website.

The Collection’s owner, The Chevy Chase Land Co., is planning to revamp the shopping center and move it away from high-end retail tenants, reports Bethesda Magazine. Instead it will focus on retailers that offer products “a niche above major chain retailers.”

Several high-end stores such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and Jimmy Choo remain open at the shopping center, while others such as Barney’s CO-OP, Dior and Gucci have already closed.
