Project Description

Located in the heart of Shanghai, Global Harbour Mall is in the central shopping area. Attracting a lot of locals and tourists the mall is always busy anytime of the week.

Area-17 has been reviewing the new concept starting from the name: COCOON. Every woman wants to be a butterfly and the transformation will start inside the retail outlet. The harmony is created with the central stylish curved element composed of perforated mesh that defines fluid space like an art gallery.

The colors, feminine and delicate are coupled with a combination of raw materials composed of leather and wood. The lights are a big part of the shop design, creating different effects and setting up different atmospheres.

Varying between a warm and a refined ambiance, the shop offers to women the satisfaction of a glamour transformation from the cocoon to a butterfly.
