Management Changes:

Chippenhook (Lewisville, Texas, visual merchandising firm) has hired Johnathan Sanders as luxury-brands-account executive. Sanders was previously boutique director at Montblanc.

Integrated Design Group (Boston) has hired Tom Kinslow and Hee Won Lee as architects.

Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design (New York) announces the following appointments: Angela McDonald, senior principal, San Francisco office; John Dunn, principal, Los Angeles office; Carrie Knowlton, associate, New York office; Frank Gerardo, associate, Los Angeles office; and Visswapriya Prabakar, designer, Los Angeles office.

Morse Industries (Kent, Wash., provider of protective-deflection products and extrusions for retailers) has hired Chris Berger as its Cincinnati-based Great Lakes account executive and Joe Worthy as a product engineer.

Lucky Brand Jeans (Vernon, Calif.) has opened a 3200-square-foot store at the Hollywood & Highland shopping complex in Hollywood, Calif.


Business Briefs:

Super Vision Intl. Inc. (Orlando manufacturer of fiberoptic and LED lighting) has signed licensing agreements with Illumination Management Solutions (Irvine, Calif.) and LED Power (Irvine, Calif.) for its Variable Color Lighting System and Laidman Technology.

Mannington Mills (Salem, N.J.) announced that its commercial inlaid flooring operation has been certified to the ISO 9001 Quality Standard and the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard by registrars Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Permlight Products (Tustin, Calif.) and Tempo Lighting (Irvine, Calif.) announced that they have reached a settlement in the patent-infringement lawsuit involving two Permlight patents. Tempo will license Permlight's patented theater lighting technology for its Sentinel and Sentry products.

(Seattle), the NRF gold medal award winner; Edward Mueller, ceo, Williams-Sonoma Inc. (San Francisco), the 2004 innovator of the year; Isidoro Alvarez, chairman and ceo, El Corte Ingles (Madrid), the NRF international retailer of the year; and Richard Mellor, dvp, Helzberg Jewelers (North Kansas City, Mo.), the silver plaque award.
