Gadzooks Inc. (Dallas) has reported a 3.7 percent same-store sales decrease for the five weeks ended Jan. 1, 2005.

“Although we were disappointed with our total sales for the month, our product margins, as a percentage of sales, were significantly higher versus last year as were our overall gross margin dollars,” said chairman and ceo Jerry Szczepanski.
