The San Antonio-based grocery chain H-E-B announced its plans to open four more stores in Texas this year, along with expanding its discount supermarket chain. One of the stores will open later this year in downtown Fort Worth, while the locations of the other stores are in the suburbs of Dallas-Fort Worth:

  • Forney – Villages at Gateway at North Gateway Boulevard and U.S. Highway 80
  • Frisco (it will be the city’s second H-E-B store) – U.S. 380 and FM 423
  • Mansfield – U.S. 287 and East Broad Street

H-E-B announced two more store openings in North Texas (expected in 2025) and plans to open two new stores of its discount supermarket chain, Joe V’s Smart Shop, in Dallas in 2024 and 2025.
