Harry & David Pops Up in New York

Gift shop will open in Flatiron this month in time for holiday shopping season

Gift-basket retailer Harry & David (Medford, Ore.) plans to open a temporary shop in New York’s Flatiron District this month that will run through the holiday season.

The company signed a four-month lease for 155 Fifth Ave., between West 21st and West 22nd streets, according to Crains New York. The temporary space includes 4500 square feet on the ground floor, plus a 4800-square-foot basement and 2100-square-foot mezzanine.

Harry & David also operates four stores throughout New York state and 125 locations nationwide.
