Herman Miller to Open First Brick-and-Mortar Store

Launches offline retail expansion in New York

Online furniture manufacturer and retailer Herman Miller Inc. (Zeeland, Mich.) has announced that the company will launch a brick-and-mortar retail expansion in Manhattan, New York.

Retailing Today reports that the store is slated to open in late 2016 in the chain’s existing flagship. This location is currently used as a showroom space, which is already available to customers by appointment.

The store occupies almost 60,000 square feet on New York's Park Avenue.
