H&M (Stockholm) announced that it is launching a new retail brand called Arket, a “modern-day market that will offer essential products for men, women, children and home,” according to the company.

The brand’s first store is set to open later this year in London, reports Business of Fashion. It will launch in late summer or early autumn and more stores are expected to open later in Brussels, Copenhagen and Munich. It will also begin selling merchandise online to 18 European countries.

The store will sell Arket’s own products as well as a selection of other non-H&M brands. Merchandise will revolve around simple, timeless and functional designs and will be priced slightly higher than H&M prices. Select stores will feature cafes with healthy, Nordic cuisine.
