H&M Launches Balmain Collection

Draws crowds throughout Europe

H&M (Stockholm, Sweden) has launched a new collection in its European stores. The Balmain collection by Olivier Rousteing debuted at 250 stores in 61 countries, and the designer made an appearance at the store’s flagship on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris. The collection includes 109 women’s and men’s apparel and accessories.

Crowds lined up early for the collection’s launch, some camping out for days before and waiting in line for hours. Women’s Wear Daily reported that one shopper even flew in from as far away as Vietnam to shop the collection.
