Home Depot (Atlanta) announced that it plans to hire more than 80,000 employees in anticipation of the spring season, reports USA Today.

The spring season is the retailer’s busiest sales period, which will contribute toward a projected 5.7-percent increase in sales for the year. Sales for 2016 are expected to total $101 billion.

Employees will be hired at all levels in all departments throughout the company’s nearly 2000 bricks-and-mortar stores, with open positions including cashiers, merchandisers and sales associates. More than half are expected to transition to permanent employees after the season ends.
