Adrian Wilson, creator of The Inutilious Retailer and VMSD Editorial Advisory Board member, created this play on Milton Glaser’s classic design and it struck the hearts of many, reposted by the likes of New York Magazine’s Jerry Saltz. Wilson realised this was a perfect chance to raise money to support the health workers who are overwhelmed in NY hospitals. He was approached by Rick McGuire, owner of the multimillion follower @subywaycreatures and @whatisnewyork Instagram accounts, and street art gallerist Jonathan Satin of @AcrylicUnderground.
“This Art can directly help New York heal faster by giving lifesaving protection to the health workers on the front line, and also by giving New Yorkers a way to show they are playing their own important part in the fight against coronavirus.” said the trio as they launched their products online.
Together, they have created a range of fundraising art and items for every budget, from limited edition 20×20 inch signed canvas prints to $2 postcards:

About #OneLoveNYC:

Turn the Tables on COVID-19. In partnership with WBLS, Hot97 and WLIB, PERCY100 and the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, we present #OneLoveNYC, a COVID-19 relief campaign to raise money for critically needed personal protective equipment for the health care workers in New York City hospitals. In this moment of crisis, we come together with love, as New Yorkers, to serve those who are on the frontlines of the battle against the coronavirus.
Adrian Wilson, Rick McGuire and Jonathon Satin released the following statement: “To cover all budgets in these tough times, we have 20×20 inch signed canvas prints for $199, right down to sets of eight $2 postcards. We will also be offering ways to get some of these items for free over the next few weeks, so everyone will have a chance to own a piece of art. New Yorkers are very proud of their city and they should also be proud that they are preserving it by quarantining and wearing masks. Unfortunately NYC health workers are struggling to get the masks and other basic equipment they need to protect themselves while saving their fellow citizens' lives. Buying one of these products will forever prove that you have directly contributed to the effort to overcome this tragic time in New York's history.”
Remember, 100% of all profits will go to #ONELOVENYC, the official NYC Mayor's office charity for health workers…
