Megavision Inc. (Brooklyn, N.Y.), a manufacturer of metal and wood retail fixtures, has hired Richard Rollison as its vp, business development and Brian O’Hagan as a senior account executive.

Accenta Inc. (Largo, Fla.), a designer, manufacturer and distributor of portable p-o-p and trade show displays, has hired Jim Goodall as retail sales manager at its new office in suburban Chicago.

STORE OPENINGS

Inglot Cosmetics, a Polish-based company with over 250 stores worldwide, has opened its first store in the U.S., at 1592 Broadway, New York.

Christopher Guy, a Singapore-based designer of furniture and furnishings, has opened a 2400-square- foot showroom on Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, Calif.

BUSINESS BRIEFS

Dayton Boots Enterprises Inc. (Vancouver, B.C.) announced that ceo Stephen Encarnacao has purchased a controlling interest in the footwear brand.
Linens ’N Things Inc. (West Orange, N.J.), the home-goods retailer that shuttered its stores after filing for bankruptcy last year, will reappear as a brand in a chain of 69 Canadian stores next year. Home Outfitters (Toronto) has signed and agreement with Linens 'N Things to create an exclusive line of home products for its stores.
Presentations Plus Inc. (Long Lake, Minn.), a provider of seasonal decor, store fixtures and custom printing for retailers, has been sold by John Dougan to a partnership involving Craig Wicklund, president of Wicklund Design, and Steven Hendrickson, president of Hendrickson Properties. The new owners are retaining the company’s name and location.

Phillips Edison & Co. (Cincinnati,) an owner of community and neighborhood shopping centers, has acquired Bridgewater Falls, a 600,000 square foot regional shopping center in Fairfield Township, Ohio, for an undisclosed price. Bridgewater Falls, which is anchored by TJ Maxx, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pet Smart, Dick's Sporting Goods, Michaels and Target, was acquired in an all-cash deal.

AWARDS

Moss Inc. (Lincolnwood, Ill.), a provider of tensioned fabric structures, display hardware and printed graphics, won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the commercial interiors category from the Industrial Fabrics Association International for the Solabelles it fabricated for REI’s store in Round Rock, Texas.
