ISP/VM+SD Store Design Awards Ceremony

Even if you aren't a winner in the the 2002 Institute of Store Planners/VM+SD International Store Design Awards Competition, plan on attending the 32nd Annual Awards Ceremony scheduled for Monday, January 13th, 2003 at the Puck Building, 295 Lafayette St., New York City.

Over 170 entries from international retailers and architectural and design firms are competing for top honors in 17 categories ranging from full line new and remodeled department stores, several categories of specialty stores, shops within stores, restaurants, food courts, service retailers and mall kiosks. Award-presenters will be winning designers from previous competitions, and the Store of the Year will be presented by one of the nation's premier retail CEOs. The program will be moderated by VM+SD editor, Steve Kaufman.

Additionally, the Second Annual Retail Design Legion of Honor Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to industry industry giants whose retail design concepts have shaped our culture and profession over the past 41 years.
