Jamba Juice (Emeryville, Calif.) has developed an incentive package aimed to double its current growth rate and add 500 new franchise stores in the next five years. The company is focusing on several key markets, including Baltimore and Washington D.C., Dallas, Atlanta, Northern New Jersey, Raleigh/Durham and New York.

The chain will be hosting roadshows in these markets in August and September aimed at recruiting new franchisees and encouraging existing partners to add more shops. The incentives include a 50 percent reduction in initial franchise fees and a three-year graduated royalty reduction plan. The company currently operates 263 locations. Franchise locations in the U.S. and abroad total about 550 units, according to Entrepreneur.
