Since nearly a half-million visitors come through JFK International Airport's Terminal 4 during the festive season, the New York airport wanted a multicultural display that celebrated the diversity of its travelers and their holiday celebrations.

WL Concepts & Production Inc. (Uniondale, N.Y.) partnered with Koulian Design Group (Huntington, N.Y.) to create a 251-foot-long graphic display, entitled “The Many Faces of Holiday.” Each fabric panel measured 9 1/2-feet wide-by-28-feet tall and was printed with children's faces and holiday scenes from around the globe.

“The airline industry has been harshly hit in the past few years due to global events and rising fuel costs, so it was imperative to represent the world in a spectacular fashion,” says WL Concepts president Bill Levine.
