Jones Group Retains Investment Bank

Apparel house has been fielding offers

The Jones Group Inc. (New York), the apparel manufacturer whose extensive stable of brands includes Stuart Weitzman, Nine West and Joan and David, has hired an investment bank to explore its options, one of which could include selling off its large portfolio.

According to Women’s Wear Daily,  Jones has been receiving interest from several would-be buyers and engaged Citi to review those offers and examine other alternatives.
