KBond, a gallery-like men's shop in Los Angeles, occupies 2000 square feet on a busy corner of Beverly Boulevard. The store's 85 percent glass facade allows clear viewing of the interior, which houses apparel, shoes and accessories organized into three zones: athletic, classic and avant garde fashions.

Basic colors are used not only for a contemporary, clean look, but also to identify store promotions. Blue indicates a sale; red points out new deliveries; green calls out upcoming events; and orange announces a web site update. Concrete flooring and sheetrock walls offer a blank canvas for color, which is relegated to graphics, merchandise and minimal furnishings.
