Retailer's $1 million helps Xenia recover from tornado

Kmart Corp. (Troy, Mich.) has pledged $1 million in support of the American Red Cross disaster relief effort in tornado-devastated Xenia, Ohio, struck when the storm touched down last week. In addition, Kmart is providing Cash Cards to The Salvation Army to help residents in need. “Kmart is committed to helping the communities we serve in their time of need,” said Shawn Kahle, Kmart vp, corporate affairs.
