Krispy Kreme to Open 40 Stores in Russia

Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp. (Winston-Salem, N.C.) has signed a development agreement with Doughnuts Cafe, wholly owned and operated by Arkady Novikov, owner of the Novikov Restaurant Group, to open stores in Moscow.

The franchisee is expected to build 40 shops by 2017 in the city, reports QSR magazine.

Krispy Kreme operates more than 600 stores in 21 countries.
