L Brands (Columbus, Ohio) is reportedly looking for a buyer for its Victoria’s Secret business, according to Bloomberg. The company is said to be seeking a valuation of $2 billion to $3 billion in a sale.

“As a result of the substantial improvement in performance at Victoria’s Secret, various sell-side analysts have valued the business at as much as $5 billion,” Chief Financial Officer Stuart Burgdoerfer said in a statement.

Last year, Sycamore Partners cancelled a deal that would give the private equity firm 55 percent control of the apparel brand for $525 million.
