Lands' End's New Beginning

Award-winning catalog marketer takes creative operations job

Lands'End, Inc. (Dodgeville, Wis.) has named Marcia Tabler to the new position of director of creative operations. She will help direct the company's catalog creative process and serve as international creative liaison with its operations in the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. She will report to Lee Eisenberg, executive vp and creative director.

Tabler had been vp of direct marketing for Warner Bros. Studio Stores in Los Angeles, where she oversaw its catalog, web site and direct marketing activities. Prior to that, she had served in vice presidential and creative directorial positions for a variety of retail companies, including Robinson's May, B. Altman's and Filene's. In 1999, she received the “One of the Ten Best Catalog Covers of All Time” award from Advertising Age magazine. She also won the “Best Specialty Store Catalog” award from The Direct Marketing Association in 1996.
