Leaving His Toys Behind

Toys 'R' Us U.S. president resigns

Gregory Staley, president of the U.S. division of Toys 'R' Us (Paramus, N.J.), has resigned his position “for undisclosed personal reasons.”

Staley joined the company in 1989, and helped redesign the toy chain's stores. He was also president of the international division from 1995 to 2000. The company said its U.S. toy-store division will report directly to ceo John Eyler until a successor is named.
