Macy’s Inc. (Cincinnati, Ohio) has entered into an exclusive partnership with Nineteenth Amendment (New York) to connect the design house’s up-and-coming talent with the retailer’s millennial shoppers looking for unique fashions.

Nineteenth Amendment was launched a year ago out of the New York Fashion Tech Lab. It is a venue where new and young designers can showcase their collections for a limited time, during which customers can submit orders. It is only at this point that the clothing is manufactured to fulfill the orders.

Macy’s plans to offer its shoppers exclusive first access to select collections. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the partnership will allow the retailer a chance to offer its customers made-to-order looks that cannot be found elsewhere.
