Macy’s (New York) will scale back its U.S. store hours for the balance of this month in anticipation of staffing constraints due to the Omicron variant of Covid, reports CNN. Stores will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, while Friday through Sunday hours are unaffected.

“Our store colleagues will continue to work their normal allocated hours. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the CDC and jurisdictional guidelines,” said Andrea Schwartz, Macy’s Senior Director of External Communications.

Last week, Apple closed all 12 of its NYC stores to in-store shopping, offering BOPIS only from those locations.
