Management Changes at Tommy Hilfiger

Fred Gehring will become chairman, succeeded as ceo by Daniel Grieder

Fred Gehring ceo of Tommy Hilfiger Group and the international unit of parent company PVH Corp. (New York), will transition to chairman of Hilfiger and vice chairman of PVH by the end of the year. He will become a chief advisor to PVH chairman and ceo Emanuel Chirico.

Daniel Grieder, who has worked with Tommy Hilfiger Europe since 1997, will succeed Gehring as ceo of the Hilfiger Group and remain ceo of PVH Europe.

The company has also named Peter Schlagboehmer as president of brand management for Tommy Hilfiger Europe and Iris Epple as president of brand management for Calvin Klein Europe. Both will report to Grieder.

As ceo of the Hilfiger brand, Gehring engineered the sale to PVH in 2010. In his new role, he will be expected to build up the European business of Calvin Klein, another PVH brand.
