MaxLite upgrades LED Pendant Round HighBays in efficacy and added features

WEST CALDWELL, N.J.  – MaxLite releases its second generation of LED Pendant Round HighBay fixtures, engineered with increased efficacy, two distribution options and new dimming capabilities, to meet the challenges of high ceiling lighting applications.

The new 150-watt Pendant Round HighBay with narrow beam distribution delivers 14,969 lumens and an efficacy of 96.7 lumens per watt (lm/W), a 20 percent increase over previous models. With this product generation, MaxLite also adds a wider distribution model that delivers greater lumens (16,640) lumens and efficacy (109 lm/W). In addition to providing greater energy savings, DesignLights-Consortium (DLC) qualified models are available at additional cost savings through utility rebate programs, shortening the time to payback for facility managers.

Engineered for 25-foot and higher ceiling applications, the Pendant Round HighBays have an enclosed power supply housing and covered optics that ensure durability and minimal maintenance disruptions. A crisp, bright replacement for 400-watt high intensity discharge (HID) fixtures, the LED luminaires distribute uniform light that enhances safety and productivity in a variety of commercial and industrial applications, including warehouses, large retail centers, gymnasiums, houses of worship and other facilities that require significant mounting heights.

The new-generation Pendant Round HighBays are dimmable down to 10 percent on 0-10V systems with two-wire control. Future models will include an occupancy sensor, for additional energy savings, and a battery back-up system that keeps the fixture illuminated in the event of a power outage. The LEDs have a long, 50,000-hour lifetime at L70 standards and are backed by a limited five-year warranty.

The Pendant Round HighBays are provided with a quarter-inch eyebolt attachment that allows for easy mounting with a chain or MaxLite’s 15-inch loop cable kit. A slide-out tray enables the fixture to remain hanging during service.
