MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Payless Shoe Source (Topeka, Kan.) named Michele Bergerac senior vp and general merchandise manager for its women’s and accessories businesses. She will direct merchandising and product creation in these sectors of the company, as well as partner with the sales and marketing teams to develop on-trend messaging.

Lee Renz is succeeding Mike Andres as McDonald’s Corp.’s (Oak Brook, Ill.) U.S. president. Andres has spent 30 years with McDonald’s, and plans to retire September 1. Renz has been with the company since 1982, when he worked for his parents’ franchise restaurant, Crain’s Chicago Business reports.

Ann Inc. (New York) named Brian Lynch brand president of its Ann Taylor. Lynch, who joined the company in 2004, previously served as president of the Ann Taylor Factory and Loft outlets.

Neiman Marcus Inc. (Dallas) is welcoming Michael Kingston as its senior vp and chief information officer, according to the Dallas News. Kingston formerly worked for Ann Inc., Coach Inc. and LVMH. He replaces Phillip Maxwell, who retired earlier this month.

STORE OPENING
DSW (Columbus, Ohio) opened its latest location at Deptford, N.J.’s Deptford Landing Shopping Center. DSW now has 332 stores in 41 states.

BUSINESS BRIEF
A new Walmart Neighborhood Market is planned for Westgate Mall (San Jose, Calif.). The opening will be part of an extensive renovation of the 645,000-square-foot shopping center, which is scheduled to be completed by mid-2013.
