Eddie Bauer names new ceo from Bath and Body Works; Limited promotes executive to replace him

Eddie Bauer Holdings Inc. (Redmond, Wash.) has named Neil Fiske president and ceo, effective July 9, 2007. Fiske, formerly ceo of the Bath and Body Works division of Limited Brands Inc. (Columbus, Ohio), succeeds Howard Gross, a member of the Eddie Bauer board who has been serving as interim ceo since February.

To replace Fiske, Limited Brands has promoted Diane Neal, who had been president and chief operations officer for Bath and Body Works. Neal, who joined Bath and Body Works in 2006, had been president of the outlet division for Gap Inc. (San Francisco). She had also served in a variety of management roles at Target Corp. (Minneapolis), in merchandising, planning and sourcing, and had been president of Target’s Mervyn's division from 2001 – 2004.

Limited Brands also named Bill May chief operating officer for its Victoria's Secret Stores. May had been executive vp and coo at Payless ShoeSource Inc. (Topeka, Kan.) and had held management positions at Tween Brands Inc. (New Albany, Ohio) and Gap Inc.
