Neiman Marcus Installs Phone-Charging Stations

Will be in most of its stores by fall

Neiman Marcus (Dallas) has started installing mobile phone-charging stations inside its stores, with plans for the stations to soon be available within 30 of the company’s 42 national locations by the end of summer.

The retailer originally began testing the concept within its stores last year and received a “very robust” response, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

The retailer has teamed up with ChargeItSpot (Philadelphia) to design the stations, which have been designed to match the retailer’s store designs. The stations include eight lockers that allow customers to securely plug in their phones to charge while they continue shopping.
