Nordstrom Launches Korean Beauty Pop-Up

K-beauty pop-up debuts in select stores to appeal to younger customers

Nordstrom (Seattle) has recently launched an in-store beauty pop-up of Korean beauty products in select stores. The K-beauty pop-up includes more than 500 products such as banana milk masks.

The concept is a way to lure customers and set the department store apart from the competition, reports Los Angeles Times. The retailer hopes that featuring up-and-coming products like this will foster an atmosphere of discovery and appeal to younger shoppers.

In addition, the layout of the pop-ups is meant to offer a unique experience: It features a “bubbly aesthetic” with overlapping pink and blue cloud-shaped transparent gels, colorful wall art and pink fuzzy yoga balls.
