Office Depot Names Retail President

Kevin Peters to head North American division

Office Depot (Boca Raton, Fla.), a provider of office products and services, appointed Kevin Peters president, North American Retail Division. Peters, who will report to chairman and ceo Steve Odland, replaces Carl S. (Chuck) Rubin, who is leaving the company.

Peters, who joined Office Depot in 2007, was previously executive vp, supply chain and information technology. His career also includes management roles at W.W. Grainger and 11 years at The Home Depot.

“Kevin has broad experience in operations and management, and he will provide continuity to the excellent team we have in place,” says Odland.

Office Depot operates 1584 worldwide retail stores.
