On Our Radar: Asteri Beauty

Saudi beauty brand launches stores in Riyadh and Doha celebrating Arab heritage and cultural empowerment

Rooted in empowerment and cultural heritage, Asteri Beauty (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), a female-founded Saudi Arabian beauty brand, continues to expand its retail locations with the launch of two new concept stores in Riyadh and Doha, Qatar. Named for the Greek goddess of falling stars, the brand aims to celebrate the heritage and the diversity of Arab women, which correlates into the design of Asteri’s physical stores by incorporating local heritage and stories.

On Our Radar: Asteri BeautyDesigned in collaboration with Dalziel & Pow (London), the new store in Doha is one of many planned to open across the United Arab Emirates. The store draws inspiration from the ornate architecture and lush landscape of Doha. It features a bright material palette with metallic textures and muted organic contours. The regal essence from the golden finishes, paired with the soft natural forms, create a modern elegance that feels both elevated and inviting. Centered around a gold-tiled table and radiant gold chain curtain, the design aims to create a moment of reflection and beauty for guests.

While the Doha store embodies warmth and architectural richness, the Panorama Mall Riyadh store (also designed in collaboration with Dalziel & Pow) takes inspiration from the city of Riyadh at night through linear feature lighting and mirrors. Self-expression and shared experiences are encouraged with the store’s design – a corner of the store includes a starscape mirror for capturing Instagrammable moments.

“We adore working with Asteri and are incredibly proud of our partnership,” says Sarah Fairhurst, Design Director at Dalziel & Pow. “It’s exciting to see our guiding vision ‘Sisters Under the Stars’ brought to life across the ever-expanding constellation of stores, each beautifully unique but stronger together. Asteri is a bold, brave and ambitious; a brand to watch.”
