After three months of renovations, P.F. Chang’s (Scottsdale, AZ) has turned its Atlantic City, NJ location into a flagship restaurant, its first on the East Coast and third in the country.

The 6,137-square-foot restaurant, which first opened in 2004, received significant upgrades to its design, décor and ambiance. A cherry tree measuring 13 feet high now serves as the centerpiece of the dining room, and four hand-painted murals were added to the space. Those include a mural in the upstairs bar and a staircase mural with glowing, neon characters that read “Atlantic City New Jersey” in Mandarin.

Other design elements unique to the Atlantic City location include dragon door handles leading into the bathrooms, where guests will find custom, mosaic tile murals.

P.F. Chang’s other two flagships are in Honolulu and Las Vegas. A fourth is slated to open in New York City’s Union Square later this year.
