Peter Gonzalez Dies

Was creative director at Silvestri

Design industry veteran Peter Gonzalez, creative director for Silvestri California (Los Angeles) for the past 13 years, died on April 27, 2003, after a short battle with cancer.

Gonzalez spent 40 years in the visual merchandising industry, all in the Los Angeles area, with May Co., Bullock's, Robinson's, J. Magnin and Polo. He joined Silvestri in 1988 to produce presentations for trade shows and the company's New York showroom.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Slavin, and sister Rebecca Baker.
