Purple Names New CEO

Robert DeMartini will assume the role; he was formerly the Acting Chief Executive Officer

Purple (Lehi, Utah) has named Robert DeMartini as its new CEO effective immediately. As of December 2021, DeMartini was the Acting Chief Executive Officer.

Between 2007 and 2019, DeMartini was the President and CEO of New Balance (Boston). He also previously worked for Procter & Gamble (Cincinnati) for 20 years and was also the President and CEO of USA Cycling (Colorado Springs, Colo.).

DeMartini says, “I am very excited to be leading Purple during this important period in the company’s history … Since joining Purple, I have been continually impressed by the passion and commitment exhibited throughout the organization and the wealth of experience across our teams particularly in research and development. The foundation that is in place is adding to my conviction in this business and my confidence in our ability to achieve our near- and long-term objectives.”
