Retail Casualties of Terrorist Attack

Several TJX executives were on the Boston-Los Angeles flight that hit the World Trade Center

MSNBC News reported this morning that at least five employees of TJX Cos. (Framingham, Mass.) were believed to be on board the American Airlines Boston-to-Los Angeles flight that crashed into the World Trade Center tower on Tuesday, September 11, at 8:45 a.m.

Those identified include: Lisa Fenn Gordenstein, assistant vp and merchandise manager; Robin Kaplan, senior store equipment specialist; Neilie Casey, merchandise planning manager; and Christine Barbuto and Linda George, buyers.

There were additional reports of two other unidentified TJX employees on the flight: an assistant vp of merchandising, planning and allocation; and a merchandise planning manager.
