Rue21 Names Interim Ceo

Rue21 (Warrendale, Pa.) announced its Chief Financial Officer Keith McDonough will also serve as its interim ceo while the company searches for a permanent ceo to replace Bob Fisch. McDonough has been the company’s chief financial officer for 13 years and has more than three decades of senior leadership experience in the retail industry, reports a press release.

The retailer also hired Nina Barjesteh as the company’s chief merchandising officer, as well as Elizabeth Hodges to serve in the company’s new role of chief customer office. Barjesteh previously was vp, general merchandise manager of the women’s apparel division at Target (Minneapolis). Hodges was previously senior vp of customer experience at Chico’s (Fort Myers, Fla.).
