Sam’s Club Changes Strategies

Sam’s Club (Bentonville, Ark.) has unveiled major strategic changes, according to Retailing Today.

The company’s new strategy reportedly centers around four key points including the growth of higher household income members, delivering better value for members, retaining the right members and transforming the shopping experience with digital strategies.

The company also announced in order to align with strategy changes, nine key executives have changed positions or titles including Seong Ohm, Todd Matherly, Jason Shaw, George Agnacian, Greg Cathey, Chandra Holt, Russell Mounce, MiKaela Wardlaw Lemmon and Alex Aguila.

Sam’s Club has also created a new role within the company, vp and divisional manager of meat, which has not yet been filled.
