Sarah Jessica Parker Opening Store

Washington, D.C., flagship will house her entire collection

SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker (New York) will open its first standalone store. Located in Washington, D.C., the store will open Dec. 9 and will be the first time all of the designer’s products will be displayed under one roof. The merchandise offered will include shoes, apparel, fragrances, bags and candles.

The store’s interior design will be vibrant and colorful, with the walls painted in the brand’s signature salmon color and inspiration coming from the products themselves. Consequently, many of the fixtures in the store will be made of clear Lucite, which is also the set-up of the brand’s New York showroom, which is like “the apparel version of a candy store,” Parker told Vogue. “It just looks so delightful and colorful and whimsical, so we decided to sort of re-create that space in our first store.”
