SEGD Announces Awards Jury

Signage winners to be announced in June at annual conference and expo

The Society for Environmental Graphic Design has announced the jury for its 2006 SEGD Design Awards program, which honors achievement in environmental graphic design.

Projects include themed environments,wayfinding signage,placemaking projects, mapping,public art,identity programs, architectural graphics, exhibits and retail. Also included are student work and un-built projects.

The jurors are: Steven Stamper, one of the founders of fd2s (originally Fuller Dyal & Stamper); Chris Calori, principal, Calori & Vanden-Eynden (New York); and Bill Hill, founder of MetaDesign (San Francisco).

Winners will be announced at the awards presentation in Hollywood,Calif.,in early June, at the 2006 SEGD Annual Conference & Expo. Program entries must be submitted no later than Jan. 31,2006; late entries will be accepted through February 14.
